This poster was an answer for a prompt to create a piece for a cultural event outside of my own. I drew on ASL, an integral part of Deaf culture, to create this conference poster. From a distance, the hand-signs look like just a piece of a pattern, but up close, you can see the deep meaning. This poster won a Birmingham Silver Addy.
